Speed up your next border check with the Travel to Europe app. Developed by the European Union, Travel to Europe allows you to pre-register your personal information for the Entry/Exit System (EES) in advance. Secure and simple to use, you can complete your pre-registration before arriving in or leaving a European country using the EES. The app is voluntary for the countries using the EES: they can choose whether to adopt it for EES pre-registration and the specific functionalities of the app may vary from country to country. For the up-to-date list of countries using the app, visit: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/ees/Travel-to-Europe-mobile-app Who can use the app? You can use Travel to Europe if you are a non-EU national subject to EES travelling to a European Country using the EES and you have: • A biometric passport • iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16 or later • NFC (Near-Field Communication) functionality, in order to scan your passport chip • A front-facing camera to take a selfie for identity verification You shouldn't use the app if you hold a residence permit or a long-stay visa issued by a European country using the EES.
